Display types for units
Display units
All units are internally stored and transmitted using the SI unit (for relative units) or the BASE unit (for absolute units). They can, however, be displayed in a certain unit that we want to save in the serialization. An example is when we store the value of 248 kilometer and we want the deserialized field to also display as 248 kilometer, and not as 248000 meter. The following display unit categoriess have been defined:
0. Dimensionless
The Dimensionless unit does not have any display codes, except the default one, indicated with code number 0.
